St. Petersburg is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around St. Petersburg is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Old Southeast Market is the best neighborhood market around! Visiting from NC, and OSEM is just a short walk from my friendβs house. I had the poke bowl with spicy tuna, glass noodles, greens, edamame, and moreβand was pleasantly full by the end of it! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the tall tables with stools were the perfect spot to enjoy my meal right in the middle of the market. Highly recommend!

The poke tuna was old and tasted really fishy! I get poke often at other restaurants and have never had that problem before. I tried and just couldnβt eat it. My dog loved it lol. More rice in the bowls would be nice, bot overall their prices are very fair/low compared to other places (if the poke was edible).

Chill spot with excellent poke bowls; quality ingredients and great rice. Excited to try their Cuban sandwich next.

Found this spot within walking distance of our Airbnb! Ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was great! Super crunchy outside and loaded with meat and melted cheese on the inside!

This place is a hidden gem! A great spot to grab lunch/dinner or a snack. I usually get the tuna/salmon poke bowl but from time to time I grab a Cuban sandwich! Both amazing. Super friendly and helpful service too. I will definitely be a regular here! Thank you!
